Karen Murray, President/Consultant

Karen Murray is Founder and President of The Murray Consulting Agency. Karen believes in the credit union philosophy of “People Helping People” and she is passionate about helping credit unions and assisting them in developing an extraordinary member experience with every member, at every encounter. Karen realized that what many credit unions were lacking was not the desire to offer exceptional member service, but the knowledge of how to deliver that service. That’s when she knew that others could benefit from her years of experience and extensive knowledge in this industry.

Prior to launching The Murray Consulting Agency, Karen worked in the credit union industry for more than 20 years. Her last position as Director of Retail Sales and Service at a credit union in North Florida, had her leading her organization to being recognized for three consecutive years as winners of the ServiStar Best of the Best Award. This award is giving by Michael Neill and Associates. While under Karen’s direction, her credit union was recognized by MemberXP as a Top Performing Credit Union (in the top 3 ranking) in service delivery out of more than 80 credit unions from across the country.

Karen believes wholeheartedly that delivering exceptional member service is a credit unions competitive advantage. Therefore, she works diligently with the organization to exceed this expectation. Karen’s up beat personality and encouraging manner makes her training sessions fun, yet memorable. Originally from Florida, Karen loves traveling and meeting new people. She can be found in her spare time hanging out with friends and family enjoying life.
